Blue Springs State Park is located about 6 miles east of Clio, Alabama in southeast Alabama, 2595 Hwy 10,  Cilo 36017.  

You can obtain information regarding the park calling 334-397-4875; faxing 334-397-4875 or by email to: BlueSprings.STPK@dcnr.Alabama.gov.  

The park is open from 7 am until sundown daily.  The park offers camping, rental campers, fishing, swimming, comfort stations, playground, grills and a picnic area.   The entrance fees are Adults $3.00, children 6 to 11 $1.00, seniors (62 and older) and disabled citizens $1.00.   The park has 103 acres and includes a crystal clear underground spring pool.

No luck in the lake, then try one of the park’s two creeks. There is no boat ramp on the lake, but visitors are allowed to bring their own small non-motorized watercraft such as canoes or kayaks if they can be hand-launched from the bank.

Chewacka State Park is a 696 acre park located at 124 Shell Toomer Parkway in Auburn AL just south of Interstate 85 in Lee County AL.

The park includes 26 acre Lake Chewacla – great for fishing, swimming, non-motorized boating. The park has an abundance of mountain bike and hiking trails,picnic areas, a playground, RV and tent camping and cabins. Wheelchair accessible.
