Dog-Friendly Wind Creek State Park
Wind Creek State Park, 7 miles Southeast of Alexander City Alabama on Highway 128, covers 1,445 acres of the shoreline of Lake Martin, a 41,000 acre reservoir prized for fishing, swimming and boating.
The park is dog-friendly and offers cabins, the largest state operated camping site in Alabama with 626 sites. There is a marina, store, fishing pier, hiking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas.
