The Rev. I. Q. Melton

The Rev. I. Q. Melton, the talented pastor of the M. E. Church, South, not being able to find anyone daring enough to paint the steeple of the new church, did it himself.  It was an extraordinary feat for one of his years; the steeple being 65 feet from the ground to the apex, and he being 57 years old.  He proves his faith by his works. –
