Hartselle is the second largest city in Morgan County Alabama and is about 10 miles south of Decatur Alabama.

The racial makeup of the city was 92.25% White, 5.16% Black or African American, 0.63% Native American, 0.31% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.33% from other races, and 1.31% from two or more races. 1.29% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.[6
Hartselle Alabama History
Established in 1870 primarily as a train stop depot, the town was built alongside the railroad tracks and today that area is known as Railroad Street.
