Map: Colonies in 1760
This image is a map of eastern section of North America showing the establishment and growth of British, French, and Spanish settlements up to 1760. Different colors are used to show the settlements. A legend is provided for explanation. The map shows states divisions, military forts, cities and towns, and some important roads. The map also shows physical features like lakes, rivers, and mountains. Relief is shown by hachure. In the lower right margin has a statement “The Matthews-Northrup Works, Buffalo, N.Y. The Complete Press.” This map is an original printed copy and is laminated. Besides, a small torn part on the left margin, the map is in a fairly good condition.
