Stunning location! A must see for those who love waterfalls! Some say Caney Creek Falls is the most beautiful in Alabama. It is nestled at the head of a rocky chasm containing Caney Creek and both Upper and Lower Caney Falls. The color of the water and surrounding vegetation is a lush green at times during the year, but will never disappoint. The area is wet year round, Caney being one of the waterfalls in the Bankhead that never dries up.

Upper Caney Creek Falls is among the most photographed cascades in the region. It is advisable to wear sturdy and comfortable footwear as the trail can get slippery. The water cascading down fern and moss filled rock is a sight to behold. The pool beneath the falls is a lovely blue-green color where you can take a refreshing dip. There are also dry rocky patches where you can sit and take in the surreal scenery.
