“Liberty Enlightening the World” replica (36 ft tall) in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Cast in bronze in 1956 at the Société Antoine Durenne foundry in Somerville Haut Marne, France for placement atop the Liberty National Life Insurance Company Building in downtown Birminghamin 1958. It was relocated and placed on a 60 foot tall granite pedestal adjacent to Interstate 459 in 1989. Located at 516 Liberty Parkway, Birmingham Alabama in Jefferson County.
