In Talladega National Forest,the Devil’s Den Falls, aka the Six Pack, is a series of waterfalls, consisting of a total of about 100′ elevation drop.  The falls is located on Cheaha Creek upstream from Chinnabee Lake on Cheaha Creek, and is accessed via the popular Chinnabee Silent Trail.

Little River Canyon National Preserve

The river and canyon have formed a wild and rugged landscape that allows for a range of peaceful and challenging recreational opportunities. The river supports world-class whitewater paddling and the canyon supports exceptional climbing opportunities. The opportunity for hiking, swimming, and fishing in natural areas away from city life are exemplified at Martha’s Falls and Canyon Mouth.

Bear Creek Alabama

Bear Creek Alabama is a town located in northeastern Marion County in the northwestern part of the state. Bear Creek initially was known before the Civil War as Allen’s Factory after a nearby textile factory, one of two in the area. After both factories were burned during the war, the town took the name of the nearby creek. At the 2010 census the population of Bear Creek was 1,070. Video by Nicholas Troutman

The Upper Bear Creek Reservoir, located on the eastern side of town, offers fishing, camping, swimming, and other water sports.
