Dodge City is a town in Cullman County and was incorporated in 1993. The community center is located in the lower level of Town Hall and serves several purposes. It has been designated as a storm shelter and is open for public use during inclement weather. The center also serves the public as a cooling or warming station during power outages or extreme temperatures. Perry Ray Park was dedicated in honor of the city’s first mayor, Perry Ray. The park has a playground and the Lion’s Club Loyal White Memorial Pavilion which was built by the Lion’s Club and named in remembrance of their first president, Loyal White.
A Nature Trail is located behind Town Hall which offers picnic areas with a scenic view and a relaxing walk. There is also an area called the Outdoor Classroom which offers a great location for small classes to enjoy their studies.
